We have opening for two postdoc/assistant investigator positions (initially for three years with possible extensions) in the subject of molecular biology in the group of Prof. Peng Yang at School of Life Sciences and Technology, Tongji University in Shanghai. Qualified candidates should have a Ph.D./M.D. degree and less than two years of postdoctoral training with a strong background in the mechanism-based biological research. The projects will focus on: (i) Zinc finger proteins in developmental biology; (ii) Cell fate determination and metabolism (iii) Retrotransposons.
Requirements
The candidates should be under the age of 30 and have a background in at least one of these fields: molecular biology, stem cell biology or genetics. An ideal candidate should be highly motivated with strong analytical and problem solving skills and enjoy working independently as well as in a collaborative environment. A strong academic track record will be advantageous, but fresh-graduated PhDs are also welcome.
Salaries and benefits
The salary is competitive with other universities/institutes and successful applicants will enjoy an additional bonus of up to 15% on regular salary per year.
